The Buffalo Bills made a splash signing this past offseason, bringing in Pro Bowl edge rusher Joey Bosa on a one-year deal. With that said, another superstar edge rusher has become available that they should go all in to acquire.
The Cincinnati Bengals are now listening to trade offers for 2024 sack leader Trey Hendrickson, per Jordan Schultz. The two sides have yet to find common ground on a contract extension, and the Bengals are now listening to offers.
It will take a lot for the Bengals to pull the trigger on a trade, though, especially if it means sending him to an AFC powerhouse. This is what I would propose to the Bengals if I were Brandon Beane:
Bengals receive:
- 2026 second-round pick
- EDGE A.J. Epenesa
- WR Curtis Samuel
Bills receive:
- EDGE Trey Hendrickson
- 2027 fifth-round pick
A second-round pick may seam steep for an edge rusher north of 30 years old, but the Bills are a team that, frankly, doesn’t draft well at the top of the draft (see the last five drafts). Considering that many teams will be calling, they will have to do all they can to get the highest bid.
