Real Madrid has one more new player to present ahead of the new season. Franco Mastantuono will officially be presented as a new Real Madrid player and is expected to be given a first-team number.

The club confirmed that they will present Mastantuono tomorrow at Real Madrid City, the training complex of Real Madrid. Other players like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alvaro Carreras, and Dean Huijsen were also presented at Real Madrid City.

Mastantuono has not received a jersey number, but rumors suggest he will wear the number 25 or number 30 for next season. Real Madrid published a statement with details of the presentation, which will start at 1pm in Spain, or 7 am EST in the U.S.

The presentation will include Florentino Perez introducing Mastantuono and the player speaking to the media. The event will be done tomorrow due to Mastantuono turning 18 years old.

Real Madrid statement: “Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday, at 1:00 p.m., the presentation of our player Franco Mastantuono will take place at Real Madrid City. Previously, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will welcome Franco Mastantuono for the formal signing ceremony that links our new player to the club for the next six seasons. After the presentation, Franco Mastantuono will address the media in the press room at Real Madrid City.”

Mastantuono is an attacking midfielder who has also played as a right winger due to his talented left foot. He was the star of River Plate and played in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. He played and started in all three games that River Plate played this summer.

River Plate were in Group E with Inter Milan, Monterrey, and Urawa Red Diamonds. River Plate finished third with four points after one win, one draw, and one loss. Mastantuono’s last game for River Plate was on June 25 against Inter Milan, which they lost 2-0.
