Viktor Gyokeres is set to undergo a medical on Saturday ahead of his move away from Sporting Lisbon, with the Sweden international expected to wear the number 14 shirt at his new club.
The 26-year-old striker has attracted strong interest following an outstanding season in Portugal, where he scored 43 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions.
His performances helped Sporting win the Primeira Liga title and earned him a place in the league’s Team of the Year.
The former Brighton forward, who struggled for game time during his spell in England, has since revitalised his career and become a key figure for the Sweden national team.
