The Buffalo Bills pumped up their fanbase on Tuesday by announcing the red helmets are making a comeback.
For the final game at Highmark Stadium, which is Week 18 against the Jets, the Bills will break out the throwback helmet.
And yeah, they look pretty cool.
It’s real, it’s happening.
The Bills announce that the team will wear their red helmets for the Week 18 game vs. the Jets.

There could end up being some serious irony, though.
There’s always a chance Josh Allen goes out there for one snap in the helmet then jogs off the field and takes his helmet right off.
This past season, the MVP played just a lone snap in Week 18 because the Bills had their playoff spot locked in.
“We’re only gonna get to see Josh Allen play one snap with a red helmet on in Week 18 but hey, it’s better than nothing,” writes Talking Buffalo host Patrick Moran on X.
And hey, backup QB Mitchell Trubisky surely will look great in the red helmet, too.
