The next generation of MLB stars is in the minor leagues. Whether they’re a recent top draft pick or a late-round steal, some of the future’s best players haven’t even reached the majors just yet.
Luckily for them, and fans, MLB All-Star weekend will showcase some of the brightest young talent the minor leagues has to offer. The game features players at all levels of the minor leagues, divided into American and National League teams.
A couple notable names participating in this year’s game include JJ Wetherholt, Trey Yesavage, Harry Ford and Jonah Tong.
