NBA first-round draft pick and Chinese prospect Yang Hansen played his first minutes in an NBA jersey Friday in Summer League action.
And he flashed some of the potential that made him the No. 16 overall pick.
In the first half alone, Hansen his passing ability, rim protection and ability to drive to the basket.

The mixed bag? Just minutes after Portland coach Chauncey Billups joined the broadcast and promoted his developing three-pointer, Hansen banked in a 3.

Hansen finished the half with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 2 turnovers and 4 fouls.
But he wasn’t done – and continued to flash his skillset in the second half.
At the half, Portland led Golden State 53-40.
