The SEC women’s soccer tournament returns this week with Vanderbilt the clear favorite to defend its title.
The Commodores defeated LSU on penalties in last year’s final and have steamrolled nearly all comers in 2026. Ranked No. 1 nationally, Vandy (16-0-1) is the only remaining unbeaten team in the country, with a 1-1 draw at Georgia in the Sept. 10 conference opener the lone blemish on its record.
Strange things have been known to happen in the conference tournament, though, so nothing is guaranteed for the Commodores. No. 3 seed Alabama gave Vanderbilt its toughest recent challenge, falling 2-1 in Tuscaloosa, and will be hungry for a rematch along with No. 2 seed South Carolina.
Who will will lift the trophy in Pensacola? Here’s all you need to know to watch all the action.
