Anyone who assumed that Jordon Hudson would stay away from the UNC football field after her breakup from Bill Belichick was apparently wrong.

Despite reports that the former college cheerleader was nowhere to be found when the University of North Carolina took on Miami on Saturday, Oct. 31, sources say that Belichick’s much younger ex-girlfriend was actually at the game after all.

According to “People,” Hudson showed up at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill just one day after reports surfaced that she and Belichick, 74, had quietly called it quits.

Her presence wasn’t enough to help the former New England Patriots coach pull off a win, though. The Tar Heels were defeated 38-35 by the Hurricanes despite putting up an impressive showing.

But Hudson’s appearance is particularly interesting in the wake of the viral breakup news.

Inside Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s reported split

It was first reported on Friday, Oct. 30 that Belichick and Hudson had ended their relationship months earlier.

According to “TMZ,” Belichick and Hudson quietly split “late last year.”

The former couple did a great job of keeping the breakup under wraps, as one UNC staffer even publicly stated that they were caught off guard by the news.

Other staffers told “USA Today” that they weren’t made aware of a split.

As of this writing, neither Belichick nor Hudson has confirmed the breakup.

Belichick hasn’t helped clear up the breakup rumors, either.

When a reporter asked about his relationship with Hudson during a Monday, Nov. 2 press conference, the former Patriots coach fired back with a dismissive response instead of addressing the breakup rumors.

“I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you,” Belichick said.

It’s not completely surprising that Hudson showed up at the game.

She’s made frequent appearances supporting the UNC football team since she began dating Belichick. She was even photographed hugging him on the sidelines following North Carolina’s October 17 win over Duke.

While her latest appearance could suggest that they’re still on, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re back together.
