After just three games on last night’s NBA slate, the Association is back with a whopping 10 games on the hardwood tonight with no shortage of marquee matchups and primetime players in the spotlight.

The Washington Wizards will start the night by hosting the Charlotte Hornets in the nation’s capital. AJ Dybantsa put up an efficient 19 points (8-for-12) in the first NBA game of his career on Wednesday night’s loss to the Cavaliers. He’ll look to build chemistry throughout the season with Trae Young and Anthony Davis. Shortly after, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the New York Knicks. Philadelphia took the first matchup on opening night, but New York has stacked two straight come-from-behind wins.

The Boston Celtics will also host the Chicago Bulls, with Jayson Tatum and Co. sitting as massive pregame favorites. Last time they played the Bulls, Boston shot almost 50% from both the floor and beyond the arc en route to their 35-point win. Meanwhile, LaMelo Ball and the Minnesota Timberwolves will look to rebound from two straight losses with a home game against the Clippers.

Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers will head upcoast a bit to take on the Golden State Warriors. Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg has been making a name for himself as one of the best 2026 draftees from what he’s shown thus far. Additionally, the Phoenix Suns will host the Denver Nuggets to round out the 10 p.m. ET hour.

76ers vs. Knicks best bet

After the Magic outscored them by 13 points in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss, the Knicks have been dominating during the second half. They trailed by 13 points in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Pistons, yet it was the Knicks who showed their home fans a 111-97 victory. They outscored Detroit 60-47 in the second half.

Against Chicago, a game in which New York was trailing by 19 points in the third quarter, the Knicks outscored the Bulls by 12 points in the second half en route to a six-point win. Philadelphia had New York’s number on Ring Night, but the Knicks won’t let a poor second half force a loss against these Sixers again.

Celtics vs. Bulls best bet

The last time Chicago faced Boston, the Celtics shot 49.5% from the floor and 47.7% from beyond the arc. Both of those splits are above Beantown’s season averages, so they may not shoot the lights out as efficiently as they did on Monday. Both of Boston’s other wins have been single-digit, so a lower win margin should be in order now that Chicago’s seen how Joe Mazzulla’s crew played the first time around.

The Bulls are also coming off a six-point loss to the Knicks, in which they still lost despite scoring 127 points. Chicago doesn’t have a problem putting points on the scoreboard; it’s preventing the other team from doing so that seems to be the issue. All of the Bulls’ opponents have scored 124 or more points this season, but they shouldn’t lose by 15 or more points.

Timberwolves vs. Clippers best bet

Minnesota came within two points of hitting this line against Golden State on Wednesday night, and that outing included only eight points from LaMelo Ball. That atypical result isn’t likely to repeat itself once Ball becomes acclimated to his new team’s offense. Minnesota is averaging 120.4 PPG (4th in NBA) through five games. Without Edwards, the Clippers may be able to keep the game closer than they would have. This should help Minnesota’s best scorers stay on the floor for as long as possible, and they should tally more than 115 points tonight.

Warriors vs. Lakers best bet

It’s a bit surprising that a team that beat Golden State by 22 points on Opening Night is now just a 2.5-point favorite just over a week later. That being said, the Warriors will have hosting duties this time around, and they’re coming off a two-game win streak. Rookie Yaxel Lendeborg has been Golden State’s best player tis season, and he’s already averaging 22.6 PPG, 9.2 RPG, and 4.0 APG.

He was seen jawing at Luka Doncic during their first meeting, but that didn’t end well. Lendeborg may have even more confidence now that he’s already established himself as Golden State’s second-leading scorer with Jimmy Butler still out. However, Los Angeles just has a plethora more talent on their roster than the Warriors. Doncic is coming off of back-to-back 40+ point games, and Austin Reaves is a worthy Robin to Doncic’s Batman. Golden State also didn’t have an answer for center Walker Kessler on Opening Night, and he cruised to a perfect 12-for-12 from the floor. The Lakers will prevail in The Bay tonight.

Best NBA player props for Friday

Jokic has had a bit of a slow start to his 2026-27 campaign. That’s hard to say when he already has two triple-doubles through four games, but neither of those other two performances featured the Serbian accumulating 20 points, and Denver lost both of those games. Both of Jokic’s triple-doubles came against the New Orleans Pelicans, a team that doesn’t really have a viable defender for Denver’s big man. Phoenix is in an even worse spot, as they’ve been rolling Khaman Maluach out as their starting center. Betting on triple-doubles is risky, but this is Jokic we’re talking about.

Even with Ball’s early-season troubles in the North Star State, he is more than capable of hitting this line. After their first game, the Clippers have consistently let every team’s guard score 20 or more points. Darius Acuff tallied only 12 points on opening night versus the Clippers, but Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Austin Reaves, Quentin Grimes, Collin Sexton, and Zach LaVine all reached that 20-point threshold.

Maxey has gone above 33 PRA against New York in back-to-back games, spanning back to last season; with Jaylen Brown and LeBron James now here, life couldn’t be any easier. Philadelphia’s starting point guard is surrounded by scoring options that make it easy to rack up assists. It’s been his scoring and rebounding, however, where he’s seeing career bests through five games. He’s hit 33+ PRA in every game this season so far, with his lowest being 34.
