After a shocking NCAA Tournament exit against Iowa last season, the pressure is on for Todd Golden and Florida.
No longer the defending national champions, the Gators do have what the vast majority of teams don’t: continuity. Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon and Rueben Chinyelu are all back to play a third season together, and old friend Denzel Aberdeen is also currently eligible to play after a year at Kentucky.
The early result? The nation’s No. 1 ranking, at least in the eyes of AP voters. After Tuesday’s tune-up, it will be up to Florida to prove its worthiness of that top spot.
Here are the stats from the exhibition game between Florida and Stetson.
