The NFC North was always going to be an all-out war this season, but it looked like the Packers might not be part of it when they stumbled out of the gate.
Despite injuries and adversity, Green Bay has recovered well. Not only are the Packers 4-2, but they are expecting Josh Jacobs and Micah Parsons back on the field soon. If they want to win the NFC North, a victory in Detroit would go a long way.
The Lions have other plans, as their offense continues to fire on all cylinders. While there are legitimate defensive concerns in Detroit, the Lions know their offense can keep up with any team in the league. Backed by a raucous Ford Field crowd, it could set the tone on Sunday.
As the Packers look to stay hot, the Lions hope to remind a topsy-turvy NFC that they shouldn’t be counted out, either.
