With only three races left in the season, the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff will face a wild card this weekend at Talladega. Fans, get ready for the YellaWood 400.
Out of the 10 events that make up NASCAR’s Playoff Chase, Sunday’s will require the most luck by far. Talladega Superspeedway is known to be chaotic, with multi-line drafts and side-by-side racing at nearly 200mph that always makes for some precarious conditions.
With the uncertainty of this track, it’s completely possible that an underdog could secure a clutch win. There are certain drivers that have been more successful at Talladega though, including three-time winner Ryan Blaney, and this year’s spring event winner Carson Hocevar.
You won’t want to miss out on all the mayhem.
