Two teams with a high-scoring nature clash in a London derby at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea play host to Tottenham on Saturday in Premier League play.
Both clubs have climbed to a better position in recent weeks. The Blues, first and foremost, have secured two straight wins which have lifted them to fourth in the standings. Victories over Bournemouth and Everton have boosted their place in the table, conceding just one goal across the two games.
Spurs, meanwhile, were bottom of the standings a week ago, but lifted themselves out with their first win of the season, a 3-1 victory over newly-promoted Coventry City which inspired hope for a lift but also comes with tempered expectations given the opposition.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham value picks on ProphetX
Tottenham may have picked up their first win of the campaign last time out, but supporters shouldn’t get too excited about one victory given who it came against. The 3-1 win over Coventry City lifted Spurs off the bottom of the table, but they still managed just 0.86 xG on 16 shots, a woeful performance from an efficiency standard.
There should be chances against Chelsea, giving this game high silliness potential, but the Blues should manage to get the better of their London rivals.
Chelsea have conceded far too many chances this season, with their 12.54 xGA so far the sixth-most in the Premier League, but they have also created tons of chances for themselves as well.
The Blues have won six straight in this series, and 11 of the last 12, proving history is on their side as well.
PREDICTION: Chelsea 3, Tottenham 2
