Roschon Johnson has been called into a bigger role for the Chicago Bears in recent weeks.

That’s because Johnson is filling in for the injured Kyle Monangai, who has missed three games in a row with a turf toe injury.

While Johnson has been pretty heavily involved the last two games, he has been nowhere to be found early on in the Week 7 game against the New England Patriots. Here’s a closer look at what’s going on.

Is Roschon Johnson playing tonight?

Yes, Johnson is active and healthy, but it doesn’t appear he has seen the field in the first quarter.

Instead, the Bears have leaned heavily on D’Andre Swift and aren’t mixing in multiple backs like they normally do.

Johnson is going to get work at some point, but when that is remains to be seen.
