The relationship between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown didn’t feel positive, which is part of why he was sent to the New England Patriots.

The Philadelphia Eagles decided to move on from one of the NFL’s better wide receivers, and as a result, they’ve seen why that isn’t necessarily the smartest decision.

The Patriots haven’t fully felt the impact of having Brown yet, as he’s only played two games after getting injured early in his first game in New England. However, his talent is undeniable, and his previous seasons prove just that.

Speaking of Brown and Hurts’ relationship, it may not have been as bad as some made it seem.

Not that it’s surprising to see what Brown had to say about Hurts’ recent injury, as the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback is out for the remainder of the year as he deals with blood clots, but he sent him a heartfelt message, adding that he has a lot of love and respect for him.

“It’s a tough situation, man,” Brown told reporters this week, per LehighValley.com.

“I’ve got a lot of love and respect for him, praying for him. I didn’t know how serious it was. I think all of us kind of found that out, but he’s a tough guy. He’s a tough guy, and he can handle anything. . . . He can handle it, and I pray God continues to keep his hand on him. It’s a lot of love and respect from this way.”

Things weren’t always sunshine and rainbows for Brown and Hurts in Philadelphia, and comments from both sides don’t always seem right.

However, some things matter more than football here. This is a serious health matter for Hurts, and even if Brown didn’t love playing with him on the field, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s wishing him well and hoping for a full recovery from a scary injury.
