For just the fourth — and perhaps last — time ever, an NBA season begins with LeBron James wearing a different uniform than he did the year prior.
James’ 76ers era officially begins on Tuesday, making his Philadelphia debut alongside Jaylen Brown against the defending NBA champion Knicks on the road.
For the 42-year-old James, it marks the dawn of season No. 24 in the NBA, returning to a loaded Eastern Conference led by New York. While he’s likely to take more of a backseat scoring the ball this season, James’ playmaking skills should shine with the 76ers — and his first game in red, white and blue has arrived.
Here’s what you need to know about Tuesday’s matchup between the 76ers and Knicks, including broadcast information and start time.
