The Oregon Ducks will start quarterback Brock Thomas against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday night, according to On3.

The Ducks continue to shuffle passers after Dante Moore went down with a concussion against the USC Trojans. Oregon coach Dan Lanning started Dylan Raiola last week against UCLA, who struggled before being benched in favor of Thomas.

Moore is still recovering nearly a month after going down with the injury. He has cleared concussion protocol and returned to the practice field, but still isn’t ready to return to game action. Moore entered the season widely viewed as one of the top 2027 NFL draft prospects. He turned down the chance to enter the NFL Draft after last season to return to Eugene. An exact timetable for Moore’s return is unclear.

This will be the first start for Thomas, who came off the bench and finished 11-of-15 for 156 yards and a touchdown. However, the Ducks fell to UCLA after failing to convert a two-point conversion to force overtime. Raiola was 6-of-19 in the start, throwing for only 43 yards and two interceptions. He also lost a fumble in the loss and will not get the start Saturday against his former team.

“There’s going to be some changes, some differences in the way that we operate and what we do, and there already is, the way we’ve operated this week,” Lanning said this week. “As far as revealing how we’ll do that, what things will look like, I’m not going to share.”

Oregon is currently 3-2 with losses to Oklahoma State and UCLA. Nebraska at Oregon kicks off at 11 p.m. ET on FOX.
