The WNBA’s regular season will continue with a showdown between conferences — the Sparks will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Fever this week.
The Fever have been a threat so far this season, but their success has not come without challenges. Star guard Caitlin Clark has struggled with injury and is set to miss a fifth consecutive game with a groin issue. Even without her, Indiana progressed to the final of the in-season tournament and won the Cup 74-59 over the Lynx.
Meanwhile, the Sparks are stuck at the bottom of the Western Conference. Still without star rookie Cameron Brink, Los Angeles has not been able to find their footing, though it did notch a win over the Fever just last week, 85-75.
