Derrick Henry had a message for the people who picked against the Baltimore Ravens. After his team erased a late deficit and beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime Sunday night, the running back brought up a prediction he had saved—and made sure one reporter knew he remembered it.
“I saw a post on Instagram [from the] Baltimore Sun,” Henry said after the game. “There was not a lot of y’all picking us to win, too, and you [were] one of them. I couldn’t wait for this moment.”
The exchange was playful, but the Ravens had earned the right to enjoy it. Baltimore rallied without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, tying the game with 40 seconds left in regulation before taking its first lead in overtime. Henry helped force the extra period by taking a direct snap and scoring the two-point conversion that made it 23-23.
Henry had more than a prediction to celebrate
The reporter Henry singled out, Jonas Shaffer, quickly pointed out that he had actually picked Baltimore. Henry acknowledged the correction, explaining that he had held back because he wasn’t sure who had made the prediction.

That detail made the moment less of a broadside at the media and more of a good-natured “I remember that” aimed at a specific Ravens coverage prediction. Henry said he planned to go back and look at the post he had saved.
The win gave him plenty of reasons to be in a good mood. The Ravens were down eight late in the fourth quarter, but Tyler Huntley led a six-play, 71-yard touchdown drive. Henry’s conversion tied it, and Huntley later scored the go-ahead touchdown in overtime. Safety Kyle Hamilton sealed the result with an interception of Tua Tagovailoa.

Baltimore turned doubt into extra motivation
Henry also made clear that outside predictions weren’t what drove him. Asked whether proving critics wrong was motivating, he said his focus was on pleasing his teammates and the organization by getting a win.
Still, the postgame receipt added a memorable personal moment to an already dramatic finish. The Ravens left Atlanta with a comeback victory, a clutch play from Henry and a reminder that predictions can have a long shelf life, especially when someone saves the screenshot.
