Joey Chestnut career earnings

Being the greatest eater of your generation means taking in a lot of calories, and a lot of cash.

Chestnut told USA Today in 2022 that his net worth was about $4 million, and that was before filming a Netflix special with Takeru Kobayashi and signing an endorsement deal with Impossible Foods in 2024.

The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, an event Chestnut has now won 17 times, pays its winners $10,000 each year, so Chestnut has brought in the dough from sanctioned competition as well.
