The Harvard Crimson will finally host their home opener this weekend when they welcome the Colgate Raiders to Cambridge.
Harvard opened the season with back-to-back road wins over New Hampshire and Brown, placing them atop the Ivy League standings, and 20th in the FCS already. Even after graduating star quarterback Jaden Craig, the Crimson look like they’ll be a strong conference competitor this season.
Colgate’s squad, meanwhile, has more games and playing time already under their belt. The Raiders are 4-1 so far, with Patriot League wins over Fordham, Holy Cross and Villanova. Under second-year coach Curt Fitzpatrick, Colgate has already cracked the AFCA FCS national poll for the first time since 2019.
