The NFL has yet to disappoint with the widespread action across the country. Now, the fourth slate of the season is set to kick off with some intriguing matchups this week.
On Thursday night, the Cleveland Browns look to continue their Thursday Night Football dominance, with seven straight wins on TNF. They’ll take on Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team they’ve beaten in three straight Thursday outings.
Sunday’s action starts bright and early when the Washington Commanders and Indianapolis Colts face off in London. In the afternoon, the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots will serve as one of the marquee 1 p.m. matchups, while the Carolina Panthers host the Detroit Lions in what should be a high-scoring game in the evening.
The action will end on Monday night when Tyler Shough and the New Orleans Saints’ lethal passing attack squares off against Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons in the 20th anniversary of the “Domecoming” game after Hurricane Katrina.

NFL Week 4 best bets
Each week we’ll highlight our five best bets on the entire slate. Here’s why we like these more than any other plays for Week 4.
- Commanders vs. Colts over 47.5: Both Washington and Indianapolis rank in the NFL’s bottom three in terms of opponent scoring. Outside of the Commanders’ third-best rushing defense (82 yards per game), both teams have bottom-of-the-barrel defensive units. These teams, albeit both lacking stellar offenses, should be able to march the ball down the field quite frequently. Jonathan Taylor may not run over the Commanders if their rushing defense is as legit as they look on paper, but there are enough holes that Coach Shane Steichen should be able to carve his team’s offense through.
- Bears ML vs. Jets: Sure, the Jets defense has come to play this year, and they’re a much better unit than what Philadelphia put out on the gridiron last week. However, 38-year-old Case Keenum looked confident in the pocket, and Chicago’s rushing attack is good enough to not force their quarterback into making too many risky throws. New York played Detroit quite well last week and held them scoreless through a full quarter. Regardless, the Bears offense has too many options that should lead them to victory.
- Parker Washington anytime TD: Cincinnati’s defense has been surprisingly good at limiting teams scoring touchdowns. They’re tied in sixth place with only six touchdowns. That being said, Jacksonville’s offense has put up 30 points twice already this season. Parker Washington has risen to the occasion as the Jaguars’ WR1, and he should show up this Sunday. He scored a touchdown against the solid defenses of New England and Cleveland, and more is to come.
- 49ers ML vs. Broncos: While Denver has recovered well from their Week 1 blowout at Arrowhead Stadium, San Francisco has looked like the better side through the early portion of the season. Brock Purdy is tied as a league leader with nine passing touchdowns, and he’s the sole leader in passer rating (133.1). Even though the Niners are banged up, their offense has far fewer question marks than the Broncos unit.
- Bills -6.5 vs. Patriots: NFL fans have been waiting for Drake Maye and his Patriots to finally break through with a good outing, but there hasn’t been much to feel confident in through three weeks. Josh Allen and his offense have looked virtually unstoppable this season, as long as they don’t turn the ball over frequently. Buffalo’s defense, outside of Greg Rousseau, hasn’t been great so far, but the Bills should still prevail by at least a touchdown.

NFL Week 4 expert picks
The slate has multiple openings that are solid-looking plays for Week 3. Here is a roundup of the most attractive spreads, moneyline and total bets.
Best NFL Week 4 spread bets
This line is certainly on the riskier side, but Arizona should prevail by more than a field goal against New York this Sunday. Sure, Jameis Winston has had some time to acclimate himself as a starter, albeit in rainy nor’easter conditions last week, but they’ll have to rely on Cam Skattebo and even Najee Harris to prevent their backup quarterback from making too many boneheaded plays. Jacoby Brissett should be airing out the ball a lot to Trey McBride and Michael Wilson, and it’s hard to believe the Giants will be able to contain them both. Along with that, Jeremiyah Love saw a huge uptick in usage last week against the 49ers. There’s a lot of offensive weapons on Arizona that are sleepers, and they could catch New York off guard.
Who would’ve thought both the Chiefs AND the Raiders would be a perfect 3-0 heading into this matchup? Kirk Cousins has been turning back the clock this season, and he’s actually tied for the lead with the most touchdown passes in 2026 (9). That being said, he hasn’t played a defense anywhere close to Kansas City’s caliber, and that should be seen in Week 4. Outside of a 30-point outburst from Indianapolis in Week 2, the Chiefs haven’t allowed more than 10 points in their remaining two games. Sure, they played the Dolphins and the Broncos in the first week of the season, but Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker should find much difficulty in besting this Raiders side.
Tyler Shough has been remarkable this season. The Saints’ quarterback ranks in the top 3 in both passing yards (917) and passing touchdowns (8), and has grown even more from his solid end-of-the-season stretch in 2025. He’s getting the best out of Chris Olave, who looks on track for the best season of his career. New Orleans’ offense has been progressing nicely, even with Travis Etienne both banged up and otherwise unimpressive to start the season. On Monday night, they’ll face the Falcons during the 25th anniversary of the “Domecoming” game. Atlanta gives up an average of the fourth-most passing yards to opponents this season (263 yards/game), which should have Shough and Co. salivating.

Best NFL Week 4 moneyline bets
Chicago looked like they hadn’t lost a step with Keenum under center as opposed to Caleb Williams. A large reason why has been their No. 1 rushing attack centered around Swift and Monangai. The Jets have allowed the seventh-fewest rushing yards this season (87.3 yards/game), but the Bears have too many options to use against New York this Sunday afternoon. Geno Smith has looked solid to start the season, and both Garrett Wilson and Kenyon Sadiq had strong outings last week in the Motor City. Chicago still has much less risk attached even with a backup quarterback; their 3.5-point spread could be a trap, so bettors should take them to win outright instead.
Even though they have a -14 point differential through three games, the Eagles head back to Lincoln Financial Field with a 2-1 mark. Their record appears quite fraudulent through a two-point win against Washington and a four-point nail-biter against Tennessee, and a Bears team that had a quarterback making his first start in three seasons carved them up. Enter a 1-2 Rams team, who may be even more willing to run up the score with their lackluster record. Puka Nacua is trending in the right direction to return to the action this week, and even if he doesn’t, Philadelphia’s offense has struggled against good and bad teams this year. This is a bargain bet.

Best NFL Week 4 over/under bets
As previously stated, Shough has arrived and holds a large portion of New Orleans’ offense in his right hand when he drops back to throw. Atlanta’s passing defense should see yardage and points galore, but this is just one portion of the points that will fly on Monday night. The Saints have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league (128.7 RuYds/game), which should mean ample Bijan Robinson attempts. In addition, the return of Michael Penix brought Drake London back to relevance, as he saw nine receptions for a staggering 194 yards. Both of these offenses looked poised for fireworks, much to each team’s defensive unit’s demise.
Both the Packers and Buccaneers have been massive disappointments through three weeks. Neither team has won more than two games, and both offenses have their fair share of questions heading into this one. Jalon Daniels will be making his first career start with Baker Mayfield out due to a right thumb injury, and Green Bay is far and away the worst rushing offense in the league (48.6 RuYds/game). Jordan Love has been alright, not phenomenal, but it should be difficult for his Packers side to finally score more than 22 points for the fourth week in a row.

Best NFL Week 4 player props
Now that Rico Dowdle is officially out, this is solely Jaylen Warren’s backfield this week. Warren is coming off a week where he found 176 all-purpose yards (127 rushing, 49 receiving), and Mike McCarthy is using him a bunch this season. Cleveland hasn’t given up a rushing touchdown all season, but with how much Warren will carry the ball this week, it’s hard to imagine Pittsburgh putting up many points without including him.
Look away, Blake Corum truthers. Williams is coming off a massive outing that saw 88 of his 158 total yards come on the ground. He’s been used as the team’s receiving back more than Corum has, but this line pertains to rushing yards only. The Rams’ RB1 has played two straight weeks that resulted in 85+ rushing yards, and a Philadelphia rushing defense that has allowed the eighth-most yards on the ground (127.3) is a welcome sight for bettors.

Best NFL Week 4 parlay
- Rams to win ML (vs. Eagles)
- Bills to win ML (vs. Patriots)
- Ravens to win ML (vs. Titans)
- Vikings to win ML (vs, Dolphins)
- Chiefs to win ML (vs. Raiders)
- Odds: (+291 on theScore Bet)
A five-leg parlay is risky regardless of the legs on it. However, this entourage of favorites individually all have negative odds to emerge victorious from their Week 4 games. The Rams will head to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Eagles, while Buffalo will play the Patriots in front of their Highmark Stadium faithful. The Ravens take on a lackluster opponent in the Titans, followed by Minnesota looking to dominate a meager Dolphins side. Finally, Kansas City will take on the Raiders in Las Vegas.

Best NFL Week 4 same game parlay
- Saints ML
- Saints O 23.5 total points
- Tyler Shough 260+ passing yards
- Odds: (+242 on DraftKings)
It’s safe to say this Saints-Falcons game is one of the most attractive games to bet on this week, given how many of this game’s lines have appeared in this betting guide, but there are ample reasons why. For this same-game parlay, we’ll be honing in on the Saints’ offense. New Orleans has gone over 23.5 points in all three games played so far, and there isn’t a confident method of thinking that shows why that won’t repeat this week. In addition, Atlanta’s subpar passing defense should give Shough a stat line that mirrors his 410-yard, three-touchdown Week 1 against the Lions. With all that being said, the Saints should win this shootout in honor of their “Domecoming” anniversary.

Best NFL Week 4 teaser
One of the most underutilized bet types nowadays is teaser wagers. They allow you to pick a certain betting point total and apply it to more than one bet. For this one, we opted for a six-point teaser to alter Tampa Bay’s original 3.5-point spread to a loss within nine or a win. As a trade-off, Detroit and Carolina’s likely high-scoring contest will now require over 45.5 points instead of the game’s baseline of 51.5.
