The Dallas Cowboys were wheeling and dealing on Wednesday, with the team trading a pair of defensive lineman.
First, the Cowboys struck a deal with the San Francisco 49ers sending defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to the Bay Area for a 2026 third-round pick.
Then, Dallas turned around and traded another defensive tackle, Soloman Thomas, to the Tennessee Titans in a deal that featured a seventh-round pick swap.
While a Thomas trade wasn’t exactly on anyone’s radar, the Odighizuwa trade most definitely was, as the Cowboys needed to unload salary and clear out a crowded defensive line room.
With those trades, here’s an updated look at Dallas’ 2026 draft picks.
Cowboys 2026 NFL draft picks
Because the Titans trade included a pick swap, the Cowboys only added one extra pick to their previous stable.
Here’s a full look at all of Dallas’ selections:
- Round 1, Pick 12
- Round 1, Pick 20 (via GB)
- Round 3, Pick 92 (via SF)
- Round 4, Pick 112
- Round 5, Pick 150
- Round 5, Pick 177
- Round 5, Pick 180
- Round 7, Pick 218 (via TEN)
Cowboys fans don’t need to be reminded where that second first-round pick came from, so we won’t rehash.
Two of those fifth-round picks are compensatory selections, with the departures of Jourdan Lewis to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Demarcus Lawrence to the Seattle Seahawks last offseason putting the Cowboys over the top in the comp formula.
With eight picks, including three in the top 100, the Cowboys have a golden opportunity to add some much-needed young talent in the draft.
And they are also still in position to pull off a big trade, if the opportunity presents itself.
