Just a month and a half into the year, we’ve seen some impressive performances from darts players across the board.
On Monday, Players Championship event #3 took place, with several players producing an impressive campaign, including Beau Greaves.
Beau Greaves has another impressive tournament at PC3
An unlucky deciding leg prevented Greaves from making it to the quarterfinal round, but that won’t take away from the impressive day she had.
She’s continued to show she can compete with big names, with her last 16 match against Premier League player Jonny Clayton as a great example of how resilient she is.

She trailed 5-2 in that match, and strung together three straight 15-dart legs to force a last-leg decider.
Ultimately, she lost in the end, but had a solid average of 95.74 in the 11-leg game.
In the round before, she averaged 101.65 against world number 18, Jermaine Wattimena.

Even in the games where she hasn’t produced an average north of 95, she’s fought hard and stayed in the game, most importantly, on several occasions.
Greaves has gotten a lot of criticism as a player who many believed couldn’t play with the best players in the PDC, but continues to shut down that claim, and could even go a step higher by threatening a title at some point.

On her best days, she has enough to keep up with most players, and a PC event is the most likely place for her to claim her first senior PDC title eventually.
It might not come this year, but it wouldn’t be a major shock to see her get it done, as there are plenty more chances to make a run at one.
She won’t have to wait much longer to start another campaign, as PC4 will take place tomorrow.
