The biathlon is an Olympics event that is unlike any other.
Skiing and shooting, combined into one. It’s quite the sport.
It’s not something anyone talks about for an entire four-year cycle until the Winter Olympics roll around, and then it’s back into the picture.
It requires some immense athleticism to cross country ski and then hit those little targets, for sure.

Apparently, some competitors also know what it means to be good people to one another.
In a clip that’s going viral, one racer knocked a ski pole out of another’s hand. Rather than just try to take advantage of that, he then gave his ski pole to the guy who only had one, leaving himself with one.
That’s just a really cool gesture:

The biathlon got underway at the Olympics with the mixed relay, which likely is what this video is from, although the bib numbers weren’t readily available.
It’s less about who these individuals were, though, and more about the kindness.
Take that kind of energy into your day today. Help someone out. Make the world just a bit better place.
