It might be Super Bowl week, but Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby has been the subject of many headlines over the past 72 hours.
With rumors swirling that Crosby wants out of Las Vegas, although nothing has been confirmed, the race for his signature is heating up, with a host of teams in need of a player like him.
But one thing we know about Maxx is that he’s loyal to the Raiders.
However, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, that could be tested in the coming weeks.
“What has been made clear to me: Crosby wants to be a part of a winner,” Fowler said. “That’s the priority. Whether and how that’s conveyed is still unclear. He has been fiercely loyal to Las Vegas. That loyalty will be tested more than ever in the coming weeks. The reality is the Raiders are still far away from significant winning, and the trade interest in Crosby is incredibly robust.”

Could Crosby leave Raiders?
Of course, he could. The question is, what will the Raiders want in return?
A quick glance across social media, and we can see that the asking price is going to be steep.
At least a first-round pick, maybe two, and a player thrown in as well, is where conversations will likely start. But who can offer that? Or better yet, who will want to offer that?
Either way, Crosby’s future is going to be in the headlines until something definitive happens one way or the other.
And right now, the odds of Maxx staying are the same as his odds of leaving.
