Super Bowl 60 is nearly here. The NFL’s biggest game of the season always comes with plenty of hype and spectacle, and that includes the singing of the national anthem.

There have been some memorable performances of the anthem at the Super Bowl, like Whitney Houston’s, Beyoncé’s and Lady Gaga’s. One popular sports prop bet is how short or how long the performance will be for the game.

Let’s take a look at which artist will be performing this year’s national anthem for the Super Bowl.

Who is singing the national anthem at Super Bowl 2026?

The national anthem for the 2026 Super Bowl will be performed by pop artist Charlie Puth. Puth told Rolling Stone that he auditioned for the gig.

“I actually have always wanted to do this,” Puth told the outlet. “And I recorded a little demo, just me singing with the Rhodes and sent it to Roc Nation. I’ve been told Jay-Z loved it, and it got to [NFL Commissioner Roger] Goodell and they all said that I could do it.”

“I applied,” Puth added. “I auditioned for it, but I made up my own audition because I’ve always wanted to do it — because I love it musically. It’s the best song. Musically, it’s so special.”

Artist Brandi Carlisle will also perform “America the Beautiful” before the game, and Coco Jones will add a pregame performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a song often hailed as the “Black National Anthem”
