Denver Broncos star cornerback Pat Surtain II and the rest of the team are likely still feeling the effects of having come so close to being in the Super Bowl this season. Though many are going to disagree, the Broncos still feel as though they were the better team in the AFC Championship Game.
However, it is the New England Patriots who are representing the AFC in Super Bowl LX. Instead of preparing to face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Surtain, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, is taking part in this year’s Pro Bowl Games in San Francisco.
On Tuesday, he was asked to give his Super Bowl prediction. He doesn’t think it’s going to be close.
“35-7 Seattle”
Pat Surtain and the Broncos are holding zero grudges

35-7? Surtain has the Patriots just one touchdown and losing to the Seahawks by four scores. To be fair, there are many people who feel the game is going to go that way. That said, Patriots fans and many other fans around the league are going to see PS2 as being “salty” for this take.
It’s possible that he is. The Broncos don’t seem to want to give the Patriots a whole lot of respect after losing to them in the AFC title game. The general feeling within Broncos Country is that the Broncos gave the game away and would have defeated the Patriots without much trouble had Bo Nix not been sidelined with an injury.
However, the Patriots aren’t going to care what he thinks and could use this as added fuel, along with all of the doubters that they have heading into the biggest game of the year.
