New York City’s frigid temps didn’t stop Sports Illustrated’s only twin bikini models from rocking teeny short shorts during this epic cold snap.
Aussies Elisha and Renee Herbert reunited in the fashion capital to model for the hot athleisure brand Alo. Renee rocked her Daisy Dukes with a pair of black boots, a jacket and bare legs. Elisha chose fuzzy Ugg boots, lacy tights and a sweater.
Model Penny Lane, who appears in the current issue of SI Swim with the Herbert sisters, left three red heart emojis.
“You look fabulous! 🔥” one fan raved in the comments.
“Straight Boss Fire 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 ❤️,” agreed another.
“The most gorgeous example of monozygotic twinning on earth,” wrote a third.
“TWO GORGEOUS YOUNG LADIES,” gushed a fourth.
“Angels,” added a fifth.

Although they’re from warm Australia, Renee and Elisha, 26, are used to making posing in the cold look easy. They made their SI Swim debut in the 2025 issue, which sent them to snowy Switzerland to pose in barely-there metallic bikinis. The magazine deemed the result a “showgirl meets ski-chalet fantasy” in their feature article, posted to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit with a full photo gallery last October.
The identical sisters are the first twins to be featured in the iconic magazine in almost 50 years.
