Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki thinks that the organization waited too long to fire general manager Nico Harrison, as the Hall-of-Famer thinks that the move should have been made over the offseason.
“This move should have probably happened this summer honestly,” Nowitzki said. “I didn’t want this negative energy and this black cloud over the Cooper Flagg era.”
Nowitzki said that he knew Mavericks fans wouldn’t simply move on from the Luka Doncic trade, which no one understood.
“This trade just made no sense,” he said. “It made no sense to them and there was really no explanation for it either.”
