The Dallas Cowboys got curb-stomped at AT&T Stadium by the Arizona Cardinals 27-17, and Dak Prescott knows his team was on the receiving end of a butt kicking.
Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals’ offense simply did as they pleased for three quarters, walking up and down the field on Matt Eberflus’ defense, but while that wasn’t a surprise, how the offense fared was.
Fumbles to Jake Ferguson and Javonte Williams, both of which were lost, plus two turnover on downs and five sacks allowed on Prescott, Brian Schottenheimer’s offense had its lunch money stolen.
And speaking post-game, Dak didn’t hold back in his assessment.
“They kicked our (expletive) on both sides of the ball,” Prescott said via The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “Very frustrating.”

Cowboys season hits new low in Cardinals loss
After the loss to the Denver Broncos, some didn’t think this team could be worse, and in true Dallas fashion, it laid an egg on Monday Night Football, and at home, too.
The Cowboys’ defense was gashed at will on the ground and through the air during the first three quarters, and while it came to life in the fourth quarter, the damage was already done.
Plus, the two red zone turnover on downs, coupled with the fumbles, just made it a perfect storm for the Cowboys, and now, they are staring at their season ending at Week 9. For some, the Cowboys still have hope of a playoff spot, but after what we saw against the Cardinals, that seems like a pipe dream.
Dak stated the Cowboys got their (expletive) kicked by Arizona, and he’s not wrong.
