During Game 3 of the World Series, there was a well-known figure sitting in the Dodger Stadium seats rocking a No. 57 Bieber jersey, supporting the Toronto Blue Jays.
That was pop star Justin Bieber representing former Cy Young-winning pitcher Shane Bieber.
You can see J-Bieb’s look in the photo at the top of this article.
Bieber broke the jersey out a day early. Shane is starting Game 4 on the mound for Toronto.
But even with that said, it was a cool gesture by the music star.

Is Justin Bieber related to Shane Bieber?
No, the pop star Justin Bieber isn’t related to the baseball star Shane Bieber.
Why did Justin Bieber wear a Shane Bieber jersey?
Justin wanted to represent the pitcher who shares his last name.
It’s a convenient arrangement right now, too. Justin Bieber is Canadian, and now his Blue Jays employ a star with the same last name as him.
These two have been connected in the past, too. This wasn’t the first time Justin has worn Shane’s jersey.
And in the past when MLB has held Player’s Weekend, and players get to choose what name goes on the back of their jersey, Shane Bieber has had his jersey read, “Not Justin.”
They may not be related, but they’ve both made sure the name Bieber is a popular, prominent one.
