The Baltimore Ravens‘ bye week has come and gone, with John Harbaugh’s team looking to hit the ground running against the Chicago Bears in an attempt to save their season at 1-5.

Bye week plans often differ from player to player.

Some like to get away and spend time with family, others like to stay in the building, work on their craft, watch film, and dissect their game down to the littlest detail, and in truth, there is no “wrong way” to go about it.

And for running back Derrick Henry, the bye week was much needed, from both a mental and physical standpoint.

“It was good, get away, get mentally refreshed, just chill, relax, and watch some football, chill with the fam [family],” Henry said. “The main part is getting away, get your mind right, come back, and be ready to go.”

Ravens ready to go vs. Bears?

Well, they have to be, right?

Given the urgency at 1-5, a loss would almost signal the end of their season as it pertains to playoff football, and given that we aren’t even in November yet, that is nightmare fuel for Baltimore fans.

But that is the reality facing Harbaugh and his team right now, and with only 11 games left, how many wins would the Ravens need to punch a playoff spot? Only with one, say nine or 10?

Either way, the Ravens would need a serious turnaround in form, and it has to start Sunday, because, as heavy-handed as it sounds, anything other than a win, and the season is over.

Henry is rested after the bye week, but there will be no easing in on Sunday. It’s all gas, no brakes, as Baltimore looks to save its troubled season.
