Cue up “Roundball Rock” — the NBA is back on NBC.
For the first time in more than two decades, NBC Sports will have live NBA coverage, airing 100 regular-season games during the 2025-26 campaign. And for the first time ever, games will be available to stream on Peacock.
In anticipation of the NBA’s return, NBC Sports landed some of the most talented announcers, analysts and reporters in the industry, only adding to the excitement surrounding the company’s broadcasts.

NBA games will air on NBC during the 2025-26 regular season and playoffs. Every game presented by NBC Sports will also be available to stream on Peacock.

NBA on NBC and Peacock schedule for 2025-26 season

NBC and Peacock will primarily cover games on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays during the 2025-26 regular season. “NBA Showtime,” hosted by either Ahmed Fareed or Maria Taylor, will serve as NBC Sports’ main pregame and postgame show.
