The Buffalo Bills entered their bye week needing to search for answers.

After starting the year 4-0, many were claiming the Bills would run through the division and be the AFC’s No. 1 seed, which was a valid thought. But the past two weeks have seen Buffalo be beaten and both sides of the ball looking a little wobbly.

The offense, which didn’t turn the ball over in the first three weeks, now has six in the last three games, and the defense has been got at, particularly, on the ground with rushing totals of 189 and 210 given up in two of the three games.

And for Fox analyst Julian Edelman, yeah, he’s worried about Buffalo.

“The team that is trending down is the Buffalo Bills, I’m hitting the panic button right now,” Edelman said. “They look light in the box. They’re giving up 5.8 yards per carry and that’s not sustainable. I’m worried about them, yes.”

Should Bills be panicking?

Well, Edelman has a point about the defense, and the offense needs to reel in the turnovers, but this team is 4-2, so it isn’t exactly the end of the world.

But with that being said, the Bills have to correct a lot of things during the bye week, and with the Carolina Panthers and Kansas City Chiefs up next, those are two games that the team has to look good against.

Ideally, winning both would put this troubled train back on the tracks, but lose, and lose in the same manner as they did against the Atlanta Falcons, then that panic button that Edelman is hitting, I’ll be hitting too.

Many still have faith in Buffalo, but right now, for some, it has to prove it is deserving of that faith.
