Bryce Young injury update

Young was ruled out for the remainder of Week 7’s game with a sprained right ankle

He suffered the right ankle injury as he attempted to scramble from New York pass rushers. The Fox broadcast showed a replay of the injury, and head coach Dave Canales confirmed that is when the injury occurred postgame.

On the play, it appeared that Jets DT Jowon Briggs stepped on Young’s right leg, causing the ankle injury. Ahead of the fourth quarter, the Panthers initially ruled Young as questionable to return to the game.
