Melvin Miller has the top coaches in the country all coveting him. But the Class of 2027 No. 1 recruit has just nine in mind to decide between.

Miller, who competes for Bishop McCort High School, announced his final nine schools on social media recently.

Those nine programs are Iowa, Penn State, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Missouri, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Nebraska and NC State. While seeing Iowa and Penn State make a list like this is common, the rise of Oklahoma State could continue with the signing of Miller.

The Cowboys have already inked the likes of Ladarion Lockett, Dreshaun Ross and Jax Forrest to upcoming classes, as former Penn State standout David Taylor continues to build a formidable foe to challenge Cael Sanderson and the likes.

Miller is currently a teammate with Forrest and Bo Bassett, who committed to Iowa. He won a state championship this past year and also scored gold at Fargo in 2024 in the Junior 157-pound division and won the Powerade Tournament at the same weight class back in December.

Overall, Miller is ranked third at 157 pounds behind seniors PJ Duke and Landon Robideau. Duke recently scored a spot on the senior national team.

Miller was a runner-up at the U20 World Team Trials, losing to Robideau.
