Chelsea are in the market for a new left-winger and have made Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens their number one target this summer.

The Blues have been chasing the English international for a while now, and even had a couple of bids rejected for him in the mini transfer window.

Now that the transfer window has reopened for the rest of the summer, Chelsea have returned to the negotiation table, hoping to crack a deal for Gittens.

Chelsea have been boosted by reports that Gittens ‘only wants’ a move to Stamford Bridge as the two clubs try to finalise a deal for the player.

However, according to a report by The Guardian, while Gittens remains the club’s number one priority, the club are exploring a potential deal for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus.

It has been reported that Chelsea have held talks with the Hammers about the possibility of bringing Kudus to Stamford Bridge in case they fail in their attempts to sign Gittens.
