The Philadelphia Eagles have gotten to rest a little bit after opening up their season last Thursday with a win over the Dallas Cowboys.
But as they head into a Week 2 Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs, they’ve still got some guys pretty dinged up.
The most notable name on Wednesday’s injury report: tight end Dallas Goedert.
Goedert didn’t participate in practice. He’s listed with a knee injury. The veteran tight end led the Eagles in receptions in Week 1.

The Eagles also had two other offensive players miss Wednesday’s practice.
Running back Will Shipley sat out with an oblique issue. He opened Week 1 as Saquon Barkley’s backup, but after a few early touches, he left the game with injury and didn’t return as A.J. Dillon became the backup.
The Eagles did just trade for Tank Bigsby, another RB, from Jacksonville, and he could factor into the gameplan.

Quarterback Tanner McKee was also out of practice altogether with the thumb injury that prevented him from being QB2 in Week 1.
The Eagles also had two key contributors limited.
Left guard Landon Dickerson, a star, was limited due to a back issue. Linebacker Jalyx Hunt was limited with a hip injury.
The Eagles play in the late afternoon window Sunday against the Chiefs in what could end up as an instant classic.
