It’s happening again.
The San Francisco 49ers can’t avoid the injury bug. This time, it struck superstar tight end George Kittle. After catching a touchdown in the season opener, Kittle departed hurt.
He’s not the only 49ers player out, either. It seems like everyone not named Christian McCaffrey, ironically, has some kind of ding.
Kittle would be one of the most important absences, depending on how much time he has to miss.

How long is George Kittle out?
George Kittle is going to be out three-to-five weeks, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
He could be placed on Injured Reserve, which would force him to miss four weeks before being allowed to return.
In the meantime, the 49ers will rely on Luke Farrell at tight end. He’s a highly regarded blocker but much less of a receiving threat. They also have Jake Tonges, who caught a TD in the opener after Kittle departed.
