The Go Bowling Military Bowl decided the last results. In Annapolis, the Pirates earned a 26-21 win, their first victory over the Wolfpack after three straight losses. It capped off an 8-5 record in coach Blake Harrell’s first season at ECSU. What can the Pirates accomplish in his second year?
For the Wolfpack, the bowl game loss was their fifth straight. It capped off their worst season since 2019 as NC State officially finished 6-7.
But that’s nothing to be too concerned about. QB CJ Bailey is back for his sophomore season, as are Hollywood Smothers and Justin Joly, the team’s 2024 leading rusher and receiver. With more experience on the field this time around, the Wolfpack are one to watch.
