NFL correspondent and content creator Katie Feeney shared an impressive video montage from her early dance career, kicking it off by touching her toe to her forehead in a full split jump.
“My life for 15 years,” she captioned the Monday, August 18 Instagram share. “My first love wasn’t a boy,” she wrote over the video, which shows her spinning in class, doing high kicks as part of a school dance team, and leaping on an outdoor stage.
“So cute!!” wrote entrepreneur Barbara Jones in the comments. “So talented – I had no idea. You should do classes in NYC for fun!” Feeney responded, “I may do that! I miss it!”
“I love the clip of you at the ALDC,” laughed one fan of the competition team made famous on the controversial reality TV hit Dance Moms. Feeny replied, “I was obsessed.”
Many of Feeney’s fans turned out to also be dancers.
“Ughhhh love this,” wrote one.
“Awww I love this trend,” agreed another. “And I’m also a dancer.”
“RELATABLE I miss it so much,” commented a third.
“Dance will always have my heart,” added a fourth.
Feeney, 23, was announced as the NFL’s new sports content creator on August 4, due to her relatable content and massive social media following (13 million across all platforms). She will try to bring in younger fans to the NFL via digital campaigns on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Before landing this huge, national gig, she was a content creator for the Washington Commanders for three years. Catch her this season on ESPN shows such as Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown.
