Brussels will host the 49th edition of the Allianz Memorial Van Damme, which will be the last Diamond League event of the season before the finals in Zurich.

American star Sha’Carri Richardson, who is competing in the women’s 100m sprint will headline the star-studded field. She will compete with the likes of Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Maia McCoy, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in Brussels.

Apart from Richardson, other Olympic champions such as Nafi Thiam, Winfred Yavi, Hamish Kerr, Thea LaFond, Yemisi Ogunleye, and Roje Stona will also be present in Brussels.

Points collected at these Diamond League events help athletes qualify for the season finale, which will take place in Zurich in August.
