Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is set to make his 2025 preseason debut this week against the Bills after he sat out Week 1.
The 2024 No. 1 overall pick watched as Chicago tied the Dolphins, 23-23, behind Tyler Bagent, Case Keenum and Austin Reed. Now Williams will likely face off with another first-rounder, Mitchell Trubisky, who is the top backup to Josh Allen.
The Bills, who are featured on Hard Knocks this summer, got some good news after signing running back James Cook to a new extension ahead of the regular season. It’s unclear if he’ll play in this game.
