Brandon Boston Jr. was an incredible high school recruit.

He was top-five in the country in the Class of 2020.

At Kentucky, he didn’t quite live up to the hype.

He only earned himself a selection at 51st overall by the Grizzlies in 2021.

From there, he spent three seasons with the Clippers. In those campaigns, he averaged a combined 6.2 points per game.

Boston then spent the 2024-25 season with the Pelicans and had his best numbers, at 10.7 points and 2.2 assists per game.

He doesn’t look like he’ll be returning to the NBA this season, though.

European basketball insider Donatas Urbonas reports that Boston is “close to signing” with EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce, a Turkish powerhouse.

Boston is still just 23 years old. If he wants it, he’s got a long basketball career ahead of him, either stateside or in Europe.

Fenerbahce features a few names who might be familiar to U.S. basketball fans.

Former Orlando Magic center Khem Birch is a star for Fenerbahce.

They have point guard Wade Baldwin IV, former Notre Dame forward Bonzie Colson, former Florida star Scottie Wilbekin and former NBA player Nicolo Melli.

And now, they’re trying to land Boston. It’d be a great pickup for the team that topped Europe this past season, and he’d give them a chance to try and do so again.
