Manchester United have a history of signing players from Chelsea, with Mason Mount and Juan Mata trading Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford in the past.
Now, that trend could be set to continue as the Red Devils have reportedly enquired about potentially signing another Blues star.
While Chelsea have signed a host of players this transfer window, they also need to let go of a number of players as they have to trim their squad and balance the books.
While Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been linked with a move away from the club, and United have reportedly been interested in signing him, he is not the player that United have enquired about.
Christopher Nkunku is another player rumoured to be leaving West London this summer, and United could be a possible destination for the player.
The Frenchman has previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, so this is certainly one to keep an eye on.

Man United enquire about Nkunku over the weekend

At the start of this month, it was reported that United quoted a fee to try and sign Nkunku from Chelsea.
Now, journalist Simon Phillips reports via Substack that Man Utd made a fresh approach to sign Nkunku over the weekend.
It has been reported that since the French forward is expected to leave this summer, Chelsea have reportedly reduced their price for the player.
Phillips adds that Chelsea would be prepared to sell him to a Premier League club amid interest from Man Utd, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, and Bayern Munich.
A potential move to United could make sense for Nkunku, who has flourished when deployed as a playmaker in the past.
