The Buffalo Bills know who to call when they need another wide receiver.
On Monday, they signed Deon Cain. It’s the third contract Cain has signed with the Bills in the past 12 months.
With a handful of wideouts missing from training camp practice on Monday due to injury, Cain will add depth for Buffalo.
Cain is a 28-year old wide receiver with all the physical traits. He’s 6-foot-2, 202 pounds and runs a 4.43-second 40-yard dash.
He first signed with the Bills in August 2024 and caught three passes in the final preseason game, but he was released before the regular season started.
Then, Cain came back on Halloween and lasted until Dec. 3 on the practice squad.
Cain was a college star at Clemson, but he hasn’t found a consistent role in the NFL with the Colts, Steelers, Ravens and Eagles.
He played the 2025 spring season for the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL and had 29 catches for 514 yards and six touchdowns.
Now, he’s back with the Bills, again.
