Manchester City have a very full squad, and there have been very few outgoings so far.

There are multiple players considered excess, and James McAtee is one such player.

McAtee has been linked with a move away from City, and the club has valued him at around £35m.

According to Sky Sports, McAtee has rejected the opportunity to move abroad, despite interest from multiple Bundesliga clubs.

McAtee met with Eintracht Frankfurt last week, but the Englishman now wants to stay in the Premier League

Which clubs are weighing up moves for McAtee?

With McAtee’s new update, multiple clubs have been put on high alert that they could sign the Englishman.

It was previously reported that Nottingham Forest were preparing a bid for the midfielder, and they could rekindle their interest in McAtee, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Morgan Gibbs-White’s future.

Everton have also shown interest in the midfielder, and West Ham could join the fray, as well.

Manchester City could always opt to keep the Englishman and offload other players, as McAtee has shown great potential.

He proved to be pivotal in England’s U-21 Euro success, as he scored a goal and provided two assists.
