Despite signing a host of attacking talent from around the world in the ongoing summer transfer window, Chelsea are still on the lookout for ways to bolster their attack.
The Blues have been linked with a move for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho since the beginning of the transfer window, and now believe they can secure his services in a cut-price deal.
Enzo Maresca’s team believe that they can land the Argentine winger for just £40m in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Garnacho seems set to leave Old Trafford this summer, and it’ll be interesting to see if the winger ends up at Stamford Bridge.
As per The Telegraph, United boss Ruben Amorim has made it evident that Garnacho is one of the several players who is free to leave the club this summer.
Interestingly, the 21-year-old was valued between £60m and £70m by Man Utd when he was subject to offers from Chelsea and Napoli in January.

However, Chelsea now believe that they can land their target for as little as £40m. Garnacho’s situation at United is also being monitored by Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
Though Garnacho was one of United’s better players last season, his departure from Old Trafford seems inevitable after falling out with Amorim.
Having already signed Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian this transfer window, the need for the Blues to sign another wide player is questionable.
