Stephen Curry is always going to answer questions honestly. He has spent his entire career in the NBA being candid and friendly with the NBA media, leading to informative and honest interviews that have let fans really get to know their favorite star.
When Curry doesn’t want to answer a question, he usually turns on his charm and gives a general answer, avoiding controversy.
Recently, while playing golf on YouTube’s “Good Good” channel, Curry was asked some hard-hitting questions.
When asked about the most athletic players in the NBA, Curry gave a surprising answer.
“Ja Morant. I think he’s pound for pound the most athletic dude in the league,” said Curry when asked about the athleticism in the NBA.
While seeing Morant’s name on a most athletic list isn’t surprising, hearing this from Curry somewhat is.
The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies have not been the best of friends over the last few seasons. Through chippy playoff series and play-in games, these teams have started to form a bit of a rivalry. Ja Morant is the head of the snake.
Still, Curry had to be honest. Morant’s athleticism is incredible. The fact that Curry added “pound for pound” gives the title of the most athletic player in the NBA a little less shine.

The fact that Curry named one of his adversaries in such a positive light just shows the kind of guy Curry is. Curry isn’t going to hold grudges or not give those who are deserving their flowers. This is just another example of how Curry is a class act.
